I am fundraising for the rebuild of NMIC Northampton Mosque because this place is more than just bricks and walls — it is the heart of our community. For many of us, the mosque is where we learned our first prayers, where our children begin their Islamic education, and where families gather during Ramadan, Eid, and in times of both joy and difficulty. It is a space of unity, guidance, and belonging. As our community in Northampton continues to grow, the current facilities are no longer sufficient to meet the needs of everyone who relies on them. We need a safe, welcoming, and accessible space for our children to learn, for families to gather, and for future generations to feel connected to their faith and community. The rebuild of NMIC is not just about constructing a larger building — it’s about building a stronger future. It’s about investing in our youth, supporting education, and ensuring that we leave behind something meaningful and lasting.
