My Story

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Alhamdulillah, our masjid has grown, and that growth is a blessing from Allah. But with more families, more children, and more activities, our current space is no longer enough. We are running out of room for salah, classes, and community programs. This extension is not just about a bigger building it’s about creating space for our children to learn Islam, for our community to gather, and for future generations to worship Allah comfortably. The Prophet ﷺ taught us that whoever builds a house for Allah, Allah builds a house for them in Jannah. Today, we all have a chance to be part of that reward. No amount is too small what matters is sincerity. We ask you to give what you can and make intention that this is sadaqah jariyah, a continuous charity that will benefit you long after today. May Allah accept from all of us and put barakah in our wealth. Ameen.

About the Campaign

Northampton Mosque & Islamic Centre (NMIC UK) Alhamdulillah, over the past few Ramadans, your support has brought our Masjid Extension Project to its final stage. In Phase Two, we unified the three roof structures into one and opened up the entire upstairs, completing the main structural works and transforming it into a large, open prayer and community space. With your donations, we have also upgraded the sound system, improved CCTV, secured funds for carpets and the wudhuu area, and begun preparing the first floor to become fully operational. We are now looking to raise £70,000 to complete the final phase of works, which includes: • Gas and plumbing works • Heating and air conditioning installation • Plastering, painting, flooring and internal finishes • Remaining labour and contractor costs We are closer than ever. After years of steady progress, this final push will allow us to fully open the first floor for salah, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, classes and community programmes. Let’s make this the Ramadan we finally complete the extension — and secure a lasting Sadaqah Jariyah for generations to come.
